The company is a Data & AI team at the company, a group where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization work together.

The team helps clients get more from their data, from building solid data foundations to delivering dashboards, analytics and AI use cases that support better decisions.

The role is a Power BI Consultant position in the Data Visualization practice, where you turn business questions and complex data into clear reports, sound data models and dashboards.

The work covers the full reporting lifecycle on BI projects, and the team follows the company BI methodology along with your own expertise.

You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects and other BI consultants to turn business needs into KPIs, reporting logic and visual insights, and you will keep building your technical skills within the team.

The team values learning from each other and offers a steep learning curve and meaningful BI projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transform data from different sources.
• Build sustainable data models and optimize datasets for reporting.
• Develop user-friendly Power BI dashboards.
• Improve the quality, usability and reliability of client reporting environments.
• Translate business needs into KPIs, reporting logic and visual insights together with stakeholders and technical colleagues.
• Apply good practice in modeling, DAX, visualization and deployment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of demonstrated hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and solid experience using Power Query (M) to extract, transform and combine data from several sources.
• Ability to write DAX measures, including CALCULATE, aggregations and time intelligence, and to build intuitive reports with drill-through, slicers and report-level interactions.
• Ability to design and implement star schema data models and manage relationships, hierarchies and filter behavior.
• Experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management, dataset publishing, content sharing and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients and to turn KPIs into intuitive dashboards.
• Fluent English and Dutch and/or French.
• Experience with Tabular Editor and DAX Studio is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Exposure to Azure Databricks, Fabric or other modern data platforms is an asset.
• Including your dashboards or portfolio with your application is a plus.
