Senior Collaboration Platform Engineer (Zoom & Microsoft 365)

The work spans platform engineering, automation, identity and endpoint services, and AI-enabled technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering and technology teams on architecture, standards, technical roadmaps, and engineering practices for collaboration services.
• Design, deploy, and administer Zoom Workplace, covering licensing, policy controls, managed domains, governance, reporting, usage analysis, and capacity planning.
• Connect services to Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, Microsoft 365, room technologies, and approved enterprise platforms.
• Build and maintain automation for deployment, configuration management, reporting, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations.
• Take part in planned maintenance and join the on-call rotation when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years engineering or supporting enterprise collaboration, unified communications, endpoint management, or real-time communication services.
• 3+ years of hands-on Zoom Workplace administration in an enterprise setting.
• Experience administering Zoom licensing, policy controls, managed domains, reporting, enterprise deployment, or platform governance.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, MFA, or identity lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting Windows, macOS, or virtual desktop environments.
• Experience with scripting, APIs, automation platforms, or workflow automation tools.
• Preferred: experience with Zoom AI Companion, Zoom Rooms, Zoom VDI, Zoom APIs, webhooks, or automation frameworks.
• Preferred: experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Preferred: experience with PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, or observability platforms.
• Preferred: experience integrating Zoom with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, enterprise telephony, room systems, or compliance platforms.
• Preferred: relevant certifications in Zoom, Microsoft, ITIL, security, networking, automation, AI, or collaboration.
