You will join the Core Services team to design and build secure, resilient cloud platform capabilities on Microsoft Azure, working as a senior developer who is comfortable with complex technical work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure, resilient features for the Core Services platform.
• Help shape technical design and implementation choices for cloud and service-based architectures.
• Develop and improve services using modern practices such as CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to raise engineering output, code quality and the way work is delivered.
• Work in an agile team and share your knowledge of cloud technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Show strong design and coding skills and a track record of high-quality technical results.
• Have built microservice or service-oriented architectures.
• Understand REST API design principles well.
• Have experience with C or.NET, or with several programming languages, plus understanding of database design, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Have cloud development experience, especially on Microsoft Azure.
• Desired: experience with Kubernetes, containers or cloud-native application platforms.
• Desired: experience with Angular or an equivalent web development framework.
• Desired: experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and software quality.
• Desired: strong communication, adaptability, curiosity, ownership and motivation to solve technical problems in a fast-changing environment.

Conditions

This is a full-time position.

Hybrid working is the norm: most roles are based at a local office, with about 50% of working hours on-site. Some roles are fully office-based or remote, and the arrangement for this role is confirmed during hiring.
