Description

The Patient Software Insights group at the company Information Solutions builds a portfolio of software for healthcare providers and patients across several applications and disease areas.

The company works with partners such as people with diabetes, caregivers, healthcare providers and payers, under the Navify, Accu-Chek and mySugr brands covering glucose monitoring and digital solutions. It connects devices and digital tools in an open ecosystem to give deeper insight into diabetes and support personalized therapy adjustments.

The role is for a Senior CI/CD Automation Engineer who works with engineers and product teams to build and improve a GitHub-based CI/CD platform that deploys applications to AWS using GitOps.

Responsibilities

  • Build reusable workflows, actions and libraries that let teams build, test, secure and release applications to AWS.
  • Write scripts, test code, troubleshoot pipeline problems and help software engineers adopt the delivery standards.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience automating CI/CD pipelines for backend, web, API, Lambda and container workloads.
  • Expert knowledge of GitHub Actions and GitOps, including self-hosted runners and OIDC authentication to AWS.
  • Proven record of creating reusable GitHub assets, such as reusable workflows, composite and custom actions and templates, that multiple teams have adopted.
  • Strong Python skills, with code that is clean, tested and reusable.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as IAM, ECR, EC2 and Lambda.
  • Proven ability to set up code branching and review processes.
  • Deep experience building containers with Docker, Podman and multi-architecture QEMU builds.
  • Deep experience managing artifact repositories and registries such as JFrog Artifactory and Amazon ECR.
  • Deep experience building Java (Maven, Gradle) and Node.js applications.
  • Deep experience defining test strategies and quality gates in pipelines, covering unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
  • Deep experience integrating SAST and SCA security tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
  • Enjoy teamwork and helping colleagues across teams.
  • Willingness to mentor colleagues and share your knowledge.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Optional: experience with Ansible and Packer to build and configure AMIs and EC2 instances.
  • Optional: knowledge of the diabetes or similar healthcare industries.
