Senior C# Developer - WPF (f/m/div.)

Description

The company is hiring a senior developer for desktop application work in C#, with WPF experience a plus. You will join a team that designs user interfaces and works on code quality.

The company's Ovar unit belongs to the Building Technologies division and builds security and communication systems, fire alarms and electronic displays for smart cities. The unit has about 700 employees.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain complex desktop applications in C#.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features and requirements.
• Make sure software meets standards for quality, security, extensibility, efficiency and maintainability.
• Analyze system requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Use modelling tools to produce software designs.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of professional C# software development experience.
• Strong command of C#.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and UML.
• Excellent written and spoken English, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Optional: experience with WPF.
• Optional: knowledge of other.NET technologies and frameworks.
• Optional: familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Optional: exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
