Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven solutions that connect with the core communication services.
• Work across the full lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy and maintain software.
• Apply strong engineering skills and care about understanding how customers work.
• Help build systems that are high performing, precise and dependable.
• Help shape development standards rather than maintaining legacy workflows, drawing on experience shipping production software.
• Work with users who rely on the tools every day and whose feedback loop is tight and demanding.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent hands-on production experience.
• Experience with functional programming, ideally Elixir, Erlang or a similar language. Engineers with a strong interest in functional design can be cross-trained.
• Solid grasp of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and clean architecture.
• Experience with, or strong technical interest in, distributed systems, microservices and high-availability, low-latency services.
• Clear and proactive communication in English.
• Willingness to mentor peers, review code carefully and take feedback openly.
• Hands-on experience containerizing and orchestrating services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with high-throughput message brokers (NATS.io, Kafka, RabbitMQ) and efficient serialization or RPC protocols (Protocol Buffers, gRPC).
• Practical exposure to a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience building or using modern AI and LLM APIs and toolchains in production.
