Description

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a senior, highly technical product analytics manager in the Retail Bank.

You will be the in-house expert on experiment design, causal inference and metric selection. Your analysis will shape product strategy, investment decisions and the product vision, and help teams decide what to build, set goals and measure impact.

You will work with leaders and specialists in Product, Engineering, Research, Data and Finance, using a range of statistical methods and frameworks to find new opportunities and risks early.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management and Engineering to find high-impact growth opportunities, turning behavioral data and user funnels into product recommendations and feature requirements.
  • Set the standards for randomization, power analysis and conversion window modeling. Design, run and interpret complex A/B/n tests using advanced methods such as variance reduction and quasi-experiments to measure true customer incrementality.
  • Query, clean and transform large, complex datasets in SQL, Python or R. Build statistical models, user segments and exploratory analyses that reveal engagement patterns.
  • Align Product, Tech, Research and Finance. Run peer review gates to protect analytical rigor and maintain standard KPI frameworks.
  • Turn multi-source data into clear strategic stories for executives and other audiences, focusing on customer value and long-term business impact rather than vanity metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 3 years of quantitative analysis.
  • At least 3 years of qualitative analysis.
  • At least 1 year of people management.
  • At least 1 year of project management.
  • Proven experience in fast-moving product settings such as e-commerce, fintech or SaaS, including ambiguous zero-to-one work that delivered clear results.
  • Fluency in SQL and Python is the minimum. Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, design of experiments and causal inference is essential.
  • Strong executive communication. You can build agreement through reasoning and negotiation rather than authority, and explain statistical results to non-technical partners.
  • Understanding of how digital products are built, instrumented and scaled, and judgment on when to use self-serve experimentation tools versus a gated, rigorous method.
  • Preferred: master's degree in business or a quantitative field such as finance, economics, physical sciences, math, statistics or engineering.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of quantitative analysis and 5+ years of qualitative analysis.
  • Preferred: 2+ years each of people management, product development, financial modeling, economic forecasting and project management.

Conditions

Annual full-time salary ranges by location: McLean, VA $200,700 - $229,100; New York, NY $219,000 - $249,900; Richmond, VA $182,500 - $208,300; Wilmington, DE $182,500 - $208,300.
