Senior Associate, Project Manager – Volunteer Experience & Enablement

The company is a large financial institution focused on creating economic opportunity through inclusive community work and financial tools. The Global Enterprise Affairs group works with internal and external partners to support healthy communities.

The Community Impact and Investment team is in the middle of a multi-year effort to connect business strategy with social impact. The role sits within the Associate Activation team, which encourages a culture of service by meeting associates where they are. You will work on getting more out of associate support channels and technology. Your day-to-day includes improving processes and experiences on the Volunteer Impact Portal, presenting the team's vision to product and tech partners, running engagement networks, and growing giving programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between Associate Enablement and product and tech teams, making sure business needs and the associate user experience shape the Volunteer Impact Portal roadmap.
• Expand and develop the company-wide Community Champions program and run the associate support channels.
• Help scope, design, and assess whether an associate donations program is feasible.
• Set up active feedback loops across support channels to find platform problems and keep improving enablement tools.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of experience in project, program, or process management.
• Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• Dislike wasted effort in processes, like writing clear documentation, and enjoy building tools that help others work well.
• Work well in matrixed organizations, delivering solutions jointly with cross-functional product, tech, and business teams.
• Put the associate experience first and hold partners and processes responsible for smooth engagement.
• Bring creative fixes to platform obstacles and move quickly to meet enterprise goals.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree or military experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in project, program, or process management.
• Preferred: experience with enterprise-wide tech platforms or digital enablement tools.

Full-time annual base salary: McLean, VA $96,500 to $110,100; Richmond, VA $87,700 to $100,100, both for the Sr. Project Manager title. This pay information applies only to candidates hired to work in these locations. Candidates hired elsewhere get the range for their location, and the exact offer amount appears only in the offer letter. Part-time pay is prorated to the agreed hours.

The role is eligible for performance-based incentive pay, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI), and may be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
