Senior Application Developer (DAAS API GW)

Description

Senior Application Developer role supporting sustainment of enterprise system software, covering the sustainment lifecycle for programs and project operations.

The company is an IT and management consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area, founded in 1996. It delivers full-cycle IT consulting and management support to private and public sector clients.

You will design, build, test and maintain computer programs so applications meet user and system needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with systems analysts and designers to research and document requirements and analyze objectives.
• Turn solutions into detailed program specifications and help with program design and changes.
• Support testing, documentation and reporting so system software stays running smoothly after release.
• Build software from requirements written by business analysts, at enterprise scale, within the organization's application development framework.
• Work with a business analyst to meet the client's goals for the business solution, using the project's tools and techniques.
• Work directly with the systems architect to develop and deploy new third-party applications, tools and programming libraries that support the client's business goals.
• Build applications using web technologies and APIs, including Java, HTML,.NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development and web-based APIs.

Requirements

• Have 5 years of total work experience in software development.
• Have experience with APIs that support low-code and no-code development platforms.
• Have experience with low-code or no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
• Have built process automation software from BPMN models, using tools such as Appian, Salesforce or Nintex, with Microsoft SQL Server databases and the Microsoft.NET environment.
• Have experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Have experience developing on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Hold a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Hold the DoW-approved 8570 baseline certification, Category IAT Level I.
• Hold the MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification.
• Hold a relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Complete the required certifications within 3 months of your onboarding start date.

Conditions

Active Secret clearance required.

Pay range is $140,000 to $150,000. Final pay depends on factors such as relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications and competencies for the role, as well as contract provisions on labor categories for the position.
