Application Programmer (EBS)

This role focuses on sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations. You will help keep computer programs running well after launch, from design and development through testing and upkeep, so they meet user and system needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with systems analysts and designers to gather and document requirements, examine objectives, and turn chosen solutions into detailed program specifications.
• Help design software tools and subsystems that can be reused, and support domain analysis.
• Help manage, develop, test, and maintain computer programs so they meet user requirements.
• Analyze objectives and problems raised by analysts and designers.
• Help prepare documentation for programmers, users, and support staff.
• Support program design, including defining data structures and error message layouts.
• Help modify program code and document changes that fix errors or add capabilities.
• Support application testing and write reports on the status, operation, and upkeep of system software applications.
• Supervise team collaboration, lead peer and quality reviews, resolve and escalate conflicts, run performance reviews, motivate team members, make sure quality assurance standards are followed, and approve timesheets.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management for programs and project operations.
• A relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• An Active Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification at Category IAT Level I (A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, Network Security, or SSCP) or higher (IAT II or III).
• DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: MuleSoft Certified Developer, Level 1.

Conditions

Full-time position.

Active Secret Clearance required.

100% remote work in a collaborative setting that supports government development.

You will work through virtual meetings and Agile ceremonies with the Task Order Project Manager, requirements analysts, the Scrum Master, developers, testers, and government stakeholders.

You must keep a secure remote workspace, use government-approved systems and security controls, and follow all cybersecurity and data protection rules, including those for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

You must be available during standard business hours to support team collaboration, customer meetings, and project deliverables.
