Description

The team supports new-business sales for Individual Life Insurance, giving sales leaders, wholesalers and distribution partners the reporting they rely on to run the business.

This is an execution-focused individual contributor role running a set reporting queue on a regular schedule. Senior team members set priorities and handle complex stakeholder needs.

Job classification: Data Science & Analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly and monthly new-business sales and distributor-level reports on time.
  • Keep standard Tableau dashboards, landing pages and recurring report templates current, with consistent formats and documented business rules.
  • Check sales data, reconcile it across sources, investigate discrepancies and fix or escalate errors.
  • Handle first-pass ad hoc data and reporting requests that are well defined, and escalate anything needing complex analysis, prioritization or significant judgment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, help maintain them, document repeatable work and flag exceptions.
  • Deliver clear, dependable outputs that let sales leaders, wholesalers and distribution partners track performance and decide.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building, maintaining or supporting Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with sales, financial or similarly structured business data.
  • Proven ability to reconcile data across several sources and explain discrepancies clearly.
  • Working understanding of sales concepts such as production, pipeline, crediting, territories and incentives.
  • Experience working within documented processes, standards and recurring delivery schedules.
  • Clear written communication and sound judgment about when to resolve an issue yourself and when to escalate.
  • Attention to detail and reliable follow-through on deadlines across recurring deliverables.
  • A process-minded approach that follows documented standards and keeps formats repeatable.
  • Analytical problem-solving to find root causes of discrepancies.
  • Curiosity and initiative to use AI and other research methods, try new approaches and build new skills.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset aimed at better reporting quality, consistency and efficiency.
  • Preferred: exposure to Power BI and interest in reporting automation or modernization.
  • Preferred: foundational knowledge of distribution hierarchies and compensation-related reporting.
  • Preferred: experience supporting new-business sales reporting in insurance or financial services.

Conditions

You work within a structured reporting setup alongside sales leaders, wholesalers, distribution partners and senior team members.

Salary range: $76,000.00 to $125,400.00. Actual pay may vary within this range based on location, candidate experience and skills.
