Description

The company is a global independent platform business that combines business strategy, media, creative and data in one operating model, run on its in-house operating system. It has more than 1,000 employees and works for brands such as Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora and Whole Foods.

The Business Transformation team shapes how the company operates, grows and changes. The team builds efficient, forward-looking capabilities that link people, processes, data and technology, and it changes how work is prioritized, managed and delivered across the company.

You will report to the Head of Business Transformation and work closely with Resource Management, Impact Operations, Customer Operations, People & Culture, Talent Acquisition and business leaders. Together you will build the infrastructure, processes, systems and governance needed to forecast, prioritize and deliver work at scale using workforce management.

The goal is to move from allocating people to work toward orchestrating work across people, AI agents, automation and technology. You will build scalable solutions, drive adoption across the organization and set up the frameworks that support operational excellence and long-term growth.

This is a Senior Principal role in Workforce Management Transformation. It suits someone who wants to lead company-wide change, use new technology and design solutions that change how the organization runs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and rollout of the company's future workforce management capabilities, including scalable processes, systems and frameworks for planning and delivering work.
  • Design the end-to-end workforce management infrastructure: business processes, governance models, operating rhythms, service models, standard operating procedures and methodologies.
  • Set up reporting frameworks, data standards and governance so workforce insights are accurate, consistent and useful.
  • Build executive dashboards and data visualizations that give leaders the workforce insights they need, when they need them, to make strategic decisions.
  • Assess and improve the Work Demand Request process so customer and business needs are captured, prioritized and turned into delivery plans.
  • Create standard work taxonomies, delivery methodologies, and inventories of skills, capabilities, AI agents, automations and reusable delivery assets.
  • Design decision frameworks that set the best mix of people, AI, automation and technology for delivering each piece of work.
  • Use operational data, past performance and new technology to keep improving workforce planning, delivery recommendations and efficiency.
  • Define the product vision, business requirements and multi-year roadmap for the company's workforce management technology.
  • Lead the shift of the resource management app from a people-focused allocation tool into a workforce management platform built around work demand.
  • Find where workflow automation, AI-assisted management and agentic workflows can improve workforce management processes and systems.
  • Work with Resource Management, Customer Operations, Impact Operations and cross-functional leaders to keep transformation work aligned with business priorities and operational needs.
  • Build and run implementation roadmaps, change plans and adoption plans that bring in new processes, technologies and ways of working.
  • Set performance metrics and capability maturity frameworks to track transformation progress, operational effectiveness and long-term business impact.
  • Protect day-to-day operations during transformation by balancing new capabilities with current business needs.
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence by simplifying processes, improving decisions and making the organization easier to scale.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in business transformation, workforce management, resource management, operations strategy or a related field, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • You have led complex, cross-functional transformation work, designed scalable business capabilities and delivered operational improvements across teams or whole organizations.
  • You understand workforce planning, resource management, work demand forecasting, capacity management and operational fulfillment methods.
  • You have built business processes, governance frameworks, operating models and standard methods that made an organization more efficient and easier to scale.
  • You use data, analytics, reporting frameworks and executive dashboards to guide decisions and measure operational performance.
  • You have defined business requirements, worked with technology teams, and helped implement or evolve enterprise platforms and operational systems.
  • You know emerging technology such as AI, workflow automation and agentic capabilities, and can spot where these fit into business operations.
  • You work confidently with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, turning complex problems into clear strategies, practical roadmaps and measurable results.
  • You have led organizational change, built stakeholder alignment and driven adoption of new processes, systems and technologies.
  • You balance long-term strategy with hands-on work, managing competing priorities while keeping business and operational goals in focus.
  • You are proactive, analytical and solutions-focused. You spot inefficiencies, question habitual ways of working and design new approaches to hard operational problems.
  • You do well in a changing environment that moves quickly, and you communicate, collaborate and solve problems well on work that spans several functions.
  • You are curious and adaptable, keep up with emerging technology, workforce management innovation and transformation practice, and focus on outcomes that matter to the business.
  • You lead with people in mind, encourage collaboration and alignment, support growth, and help teams accept change, adopt new capabilities and keep improving.
