ReactJS Java API Software Engineer

Description

You will be a critical part of the agile delivery process, building with ReactJS and Java APIs as a team player.

The team builds evidence-based oncology pathways: structured cancer treatment recommendations drawn from current clinical evidence and expert consensus.

Much of their work connects these pathways to clinical workflows, often inside electronic health records (EHRs), so oncologists can get guidance at the point of care.

The company is a global information analytics firm focused on scientific, technical and medical research content, tools and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable web applications in ReactJS.
• Create and refine RESTful Java APIs and back-end services that run on Microsoft SQL Server and IIS.
• Help deliver full-stack features that perform well, respond quickly on any screen size and stay dependable.
• Write tidy, easy-to-maintain code with solid documentation, following the team's coding standards.
• Turn business needs into functional and technical designs.
• Design, write and tune SQL queries, stored procedures and schemas in Microsoft SQL Server, keeping data accurate, fast and able to grow with the applications.
• Work with product managers, QA, UX, DevOps and other engineering groups to ship high-quality results, including with vendors and third-party providers.

Requirements

• Current hands-on skill in ReactJS development.
• Current hands-on skill building Java Spring Boot APIs.
• Learn new languages and tools quickly.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external technology contacts.
• Write and review parts of detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity.
• Familiarity with software development methods such as Agile or Waterfall.

Conditions

U.S. base pay range: $78,800 to $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to reflect local market rates.
