Description

The Sensor Processing group builds the complete software for radar systems. Its work covers radar control, scheduling radar transmissions, and processing the digital data stream.

The aim is to detect and classify objects such as aircraft and drones, track them, and show them on an operator console. The architecture is highly modular, supporting robust systems that can evolve. Agile teams build it with a modern toolchain, and they own the architecture, the toolchain and the Agile process, keeping all three up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Write, integrate and troubleshoot radar software in C/C++, making sure it runs correctly across different radar systems.
  • Work as a link between disciplines inside a close-knit team.

Requirements

  • Hold a completed HBO or WO degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Have 5 years or more of hands-on experience with C and C++ and with real-time software development.
  • Have at least 5 years of C++ software development experience.
  • Be proficient with Linux.
  • Have worked in a large software development organisation.
  • Know build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory and Maven.
  • Be a creative, open-minded and flexible team player who is results-oriented, takes initiative and communicates clearly.
  • Have a good command of Dutch and English.
  • Experience with other languages such as Java is a plus.
