The team works on continuous improvement and digital transformation within the Quality Assurance organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement and digital transformation projects within Quality Assurance.
  • Analyze quality metrics and build dashboards that make Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) easier to see, so decisions rest on data.
  • Design and automate reporting tools, including the Quality Project Lead (QPL) Capacity Model, to cut down on manual work.
  • Build automated reports and data visualization tools covering Deviations, Laboratory OOS investigations, Customer Complaints, and Rejected Batches so issues can be managed before they escalate.
  • Collect and analyze data for quality improvement projects, spot trends, and suggest process changes.
  • Help review, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), supporting process gains and CAPA implementation.
  • Help improve document management and workflows in Documentum, making review and approval easier to move through.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess current processes and propose new ways to improve compliance, efficiency, and standardization.
  • Get exposure to Quality Systems, regulatory compliance, project management, and continuous improvement methods that build toward a future Quality career.

Requirements

  • You are an undergraduate student finishing a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
  • Previous related co-ops, internships, or work experience are preferred.
  • You have led others through student organizations, athletics, Greek life, community service, volunteer groups, campus programs, military service, or other leadership roles.
  • You have a record of influencing people, leading initiatives, getting results, and making a positive impact on teams and organizations.
  • You can work through ambiguity, adjust when priorities shift, and solve complex problems.
  • You have shown grit, resilience, and perseverance through setbacks, challenges, and competing priorities.
  • You learn quickly, are intellectually curious, and bring an innovative mindset.
  • You communicate well, read people well, and build relationships across diverse teams.
  • You must be willing to move geographically to take on co-op work and later roles in locations the business needs.
  • Working onsite in the office is essential for this role throughout the program and in later placements, to support collaboration across businesses, functions, and locations.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must not need sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment visa status.

Conditions

Undergraduate co-op pay is $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on whether you are a rising junior or senior.

The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $24.00 to $25.00.

The work schedule is standard Monday to Friday, in the office.

Benefits

  • The co-op program is built as a pipeline for future leadership. Students who perform exceptionally, show leadership potential, and fit the company's values will be considered for full-time roles starting after graduation, if they are offered during their co-op.
  • Projects may include the responsibilities listed above, and the role gives exposure to the Quality organization's strategic work.
