Description

The company is a Fortune 10 business whose products and services help make high-quality care easier to reach and more affordable.

The team sits in the Connected Care and Analytics group and works with hospitals and health systems on pharmacy operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

You will keep healthcare software reliable, high quality, and fast, using a mix of manual testing, test automation, SQL checks, and quality engineering. You will work in Agile teams to get healthcare technology products delivered.

You work well on your own and pick up complex applications quickly, and you enjoy pushing automation forward.

Responsibilities

  • Run functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests on complex healthcare applications.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts and reusable test frameworks.
  • Write SQL queries that check application behavior, business rules, and data accuracy.
  • Work with engineers, product owners, and fellow QA staff throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Build UI, API, and integration tests that run in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Log defects, track them, and follow each one until it is resolved.
  • Read requirements and user stories and turn them into thorough test coverage.
  • Take part in code reviews and help improve quality engineering practices.
  • Monitor test results, regression coverage, and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help shift testing toward automation first and try AI-assisted testing tools as they emerge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, usually with 4+ years of relevant experience. An equivalent mix of education and experience is also accepted.
  • 4+ years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing queries for testing and data validation.
  • Experience building or maintaining automated test frameworks and suites.
  • Hands-on use of automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium, or similar platforms.
  • Experience testing APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control tools, and Agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and fixing defects.
  • Preferred: experience designing and rolling out scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Preferred: experience with C, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
  • Preferred: experience testing cloud applications, including Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Preferred: experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
  • Preferred: experience with Jira, qTest, or similar Agile testing tools.
  • Preferred: experience with behavior-driven development tools such as Cucumber or JUnit.
  • Preferred: exposure to AI-enabled testing tools and automation practices.
  • Preferred: healthcare technology, pharmacy, revenue cycle, or healthcare software experience.
