The company is a Fortune 10 healthcare business that works across nearly every part of the sector, delivering insights, products and services that help people get good care more easily and at a lower cost.

The team is hiring a Lead Software Developer to direct the design and rollout of modern digital platforms for customer engagement, customer data intelligence, search, analytics and critical healthcare systems.

You will provide technical leadership for cloud-native applications, APIs and microservices, customer data platforms, AI-enabled tools and event-driven architectures. You will work alongside engineering, product, architecture, security and business colleagues to build scalable, secure, high-performing products that improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, design and delivery of large enterprise software across customer experience and digital platforms.
• Guide teams toward API-first, microservice-based and cloud-native methods using current tools and platforms.
• Design and grow customer data platform features for insights, transaction analysis, behavioral analytics and personalization.
• Build scalable applications with Java,.NET, Node.js, React, Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Lead event-driven and composable designs running on Azure and/or AWS services.
• Set the standards for CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing, reliability and performance tuning.
• Promote AI-assisted development, automation, machine learning and intelligent search.
• Coach engineers, shape technical direction and drive adoption of enterprise engineering standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering, including enterprise application work and architecture leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building enterprise applications on Java,.NET, Node.js or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience building modern front ends with React, Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers and modern deployment practices.
• Experience with Git-based source control such as GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
• Preferred: experience designing and implementing Customer Data Platforms and customer intelligence solutions.
• Preferred: experience with customer analytics, behavioral analysis, transaction data processing and personalization platforms.
• Preferred: expertise in event-driven architecture, messaging platforms and distributed systems design.
• Preferred: experience with AI, machine learning, generative AI and intelligent automation.
• Preferred: experience building enterprise search, recommendation, analytics or decision-support platforms.
• Preferred: experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Preferred: advanced knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability and site reliability engineering.
• Preferred: experience leading large-scale modernization, digital transformation and performance engineering initiatives.

Conditions

Base pay range: €94,200 to €157,000.

Pay depends on performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market reviews and geographic market. An annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may also be offered.
