Responsibilities

• Join the Wealth Passport Development Team, a nimble, cross-functional group that works on products millions of customers use.
• Help explore AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, blockchain and decentralized finance to improve dozens of products and services.
• Design and build complete, well-performing features, systems and APIs alongside other developers.
• Keep looking for better ways to solve technical problems, and question the current approach when it is not working.
• Review code and pair program with teammates.
• Work out how existing software systems and platforms function, and connect applications to the right data sources.
• Write unit and integration tests, and build automation tools for routine daily tasks.

Requirements

• You will turn the design and product vision into a smooth, appealing online banking platform.
• You keep up with fast-moving technology, including web frameworks, DevSecOps, serverless computing and cloud, and you anticipate where the field is heading.
• You care about clean interfaces and a strong user experience.
• You have 12+ years of experience with Spring Boot microservices and Java Hibernate/ORM.
• You can write Java batch processing, REST and SOAP services, and apply web application security.
• You work with a modern JavaScript framework, either React or Angular.
• You understand REST APIs well and know how to apply them in practice.
• You understand relational database concepts and have some exposure to PL/SQL.
• You have used continuous integration and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub and Confluence.
• You have strong experience with unit testing and test automation tools such as JUnit, Jasmine and Jest.
• You have experience with Domain Driven Design.
• You have a good understanding of cloud design principles.
• You have some exposure to writing UNIX/LINUX scripts.
• The tech stack includes Spring Boot microservices, Java Hibernate/ORM, ReactJS, Kafka, JMS, JUnit, Oracle, DataStage and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Conditions

Base pay ranges from $114,500 to $194,700 USD, a good-faith estimate of base salary.
