Description

The Live Data Services team runs the live data pipeline for more than 30 sports, serving customers worldwide.

The team handles the full flow of live sports data: collection from scouts and automated integrations, validation, processing, and real-time delivery to bookmakers, media partners and other customers.

The company is a sports technology firm working where sports, media and betting meet. Over 1,700 federations, media outlets, betting operators and consumer platforms in 120 countries use its technology.

The role suits someone who sees quality as a whole lifecycle task, works with Product Managers before development starts, and uses AI and LLM tools to build smarter quality work.

Curiosity about sports and an understanding of how competitions run matter here, because data quality directly affects real-time consumers in a complex sports and betting setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to turn business ideas into clear, testable user stories, and flag where risks may sit.
  • Join design discussions early, question assumptions and find gaps so problems are caught before coding starts.
  • Champion quality within the team and explain risks from both technical and business viewpoints to stakeholders.
  • Use AI tools and LLMs to work faster, produce test assets, analyze data and automate repetitive tasks where it pays off.
  • Run exploratory and structured tests across APIs, integrations, internal tools, workflows and business processes.
  • Check that sports, betting and customer-facing rules behave correctly for each sport, competition and product.
  • Act as the final quality gate, confirming new features meet technical standards and customer needs before release.
  • Core skills in the team's toolkit: strong API testing, structured data validation and SQL.
  • Read existing code and write simple scripts or utilities in Java and Python, using modern AI-assisted development tools.
  • Use AI tools such as LLMs and Copilot to improve testing, analysis and day-to-day productivity.
  • Analyze complex workflows, integrations and data flows to find root causes and quality problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience driving quality practices in complex product teams.
  • You focus on user experience, business logic and customer impact, not only on passing test cases.
  • A strong interest in sports, and willingness to build knowledge across many sports. Understanding of rules, competitions, statistics and event structures is highly valued.
  • Experience with sports betting, odds, trading, sportsbook operations or similar products is a strong advantage. You handle complex business logic and see how data affects customers.
  • You act without waiting for detailed instructions, asking questions, challenging assumptions and helping set direction.
  • You explain technical risks, findings and business impact clearly to technical and non-technical people alike.

Conditions

Engineering offices are located in Europe, Asia and the US, and the team works with colleagues around the world.

The organization is flat, with a high level of individual responsibility and a matrix structure.

The company is growing quickly.

The hiring process includes a screening call with a Talent Acquisition Partner, a 60-minute product and domain interview, a technical interview covering QA fundamentals, API testing, SQL, test design, risk assessment and problem solving, and a 30-minute cultural fit interview with Senior Management.

Equal-opportunity statement: not provided in the posting.

Benefits

  • A collaborative, socially active workplace with a strong physical environment and a culture that values sports and exercise.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
