Description

The company makes story-driven RPGs, and this Senior Audio Design QA Analyst role puts you in charge of quality across key parts of its game audio.

You will work with Sound Design, Music and other audio teams from early development onward. Your job is to set the quality standard, spot risks, and make sure audio serves gameplay, story and the intended creative vision. The role calls for a sharp critical ear, solid QA skills, and a working knowledge of how interactive audio gets implemented.

At senior level, you go past logging single bugs. You take complex audio topics through to completion, build sound testing methods, give well-grounded quality advice, improve QA practice, and help grow the people around you.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex audio features from early development through final release.
  • Set test plans, coverage and quality benchmarks for every audio area: SFX, music, dialogue, ambience, systems and mix.
  • Judge audio on both technical correctness and creative goals, with a focus on how readable, immersive and emotionally effective it is in play.
  • Track down complicated problems across assets, logic and systems using Wwise, Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
  • Work with sound and music designers and programmers to flag risks, give feedback and push fixes through.
  • Lead testing on major audio features by setting priorities, validation methods and dedicated test environments.
  • Give data-backed quality advice and call out critical blockers that must be fixed before release.
  • Find waste in audio QA processes and improve testing methods and tooling.
  • Raise the standard of bug reports, keep documentation current, and mentor junior colleagues on audio testing.
  • Keep up with new work in interactive audio and modern QA to sharpen how you evaluate audio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in game QA, audio, or a closely related development discipline, including owning quality for complex systems across a full production cycle.
  • Critical listening skills that go beyond basic functionality, covering consistency, balance, creative intent and fit with the player experience.
  • Solid understanding of interactive game audio, including sound effects, ambience, music and dialogue, and how they interact during play.
  • Working knowledge of Wwise (or comparable middleware) and modern engines such as Unreal Engine, enough to investigate audio problems caused by implementation.
  • Experience building and maintaining test strategies, test plans and structured coverage for complex features.
  • Ability to judge quality risk and player impact, rank issues by priority, and explain clear recommendations.
  • Ability to give detailed, constructive and actionable feedback to both creative and technical specialists.
  • Experience improving QA workflows and testing approaches, and mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Professional background in Sound Design, Technical Sound Design or Audio Implementation, with at least one PC or console title shipped.
  • Strong grasp of audio production basics, including mixing, dynamics and signal flow.
  • Experience with standard DAWs such as Reaper or Pro Tools.
  • Expertise in 3D and spatial audio systems and in testing complex interactive audio across music, dialogue and ambience.
  • Experience with accessibility and gameplay readability, and with evaluating audio on a range of hardware and playback setups.
  • Proven track record coordinating testing with external QA teams and building custom test maps or debug tools for audio validation.

Conditions

Office-first: you will mainly work from the Warsaw studio, either full time or in a hybrid arrangement.

Pay range is 14 200 to 24 400 PLN gross per month. The final offer depends on experience and qualifications.
