Project Manager

Description

This full-time Project Manager role sits in project and program management and centers on satellite communications programs for the company's customers.

You would handle work from contract stage through delivery, with a focus on keeping customer missions on track.

Responsibilities

• Take complex satellite communications programs from contract stage through execution and delivery.
• Work with engineering, contracts, business development and operations to keep programs within scope and on schedule.
• Act as the link between customers and engineering so their needs are understood and met across the project lifecycle.
• Grow the program pipeline by talking with customers about their future mission needs and where the company can fit.
• Keep project milestones, Salesforce opportunities and business projections accurate.
• Run several programs at once, covering budget, contracts, schedule and risk.
• Build lasting working relationships with customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in program or project management.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to obtain and keep a security clearance.
• Ability to juggle several customers and programs at once.
• Strong leadership, time management, facilitation and organization skills.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, industrial technology or a similar area.
• Preferred: experience in satellite communications, satellite systems or RF communications.
• Preferred: a basic grasp of how satellite communications work.
• Preferred: understanding of Earned Value Management principles.
• Preferred: experience managing software programs.
• Preferred: experience working with US Space Force, NASA, NOAA or NRO.
• Preferred: proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite.
• Preferred: experience using Salesforce to track opportunities.
• Preferred: an active TS/SCI clearance.

Conditions

This is a full-time, regular position.

Travel of up to 10% is required, within the continental US.

No security clearance is needed to start.

The anticipated posting end date is 1/25/2027.

The proposed salary range is $82,100-$172,400.

Final pay depends on factors including location, federal government contract labor categories and wage rates, prior experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
