Senior IT Project Manager

Description

You will support an IT delivery team by running small projects and cross-system Change Requests that touch several technology areas. The role calls for working independently, handling stakeholders well and getting results in complicated, shifting settings.

Responsibilities

• Scope, staff and schedule small IT projects, including the resources needed and how the team is organised.
• Take cross-system Change Requests through every stage: analysis, planning, execution, testing and delivery.
• Evaluate technical and functional effects and align the teams involved.
• Track risks, issues and open actions so the project status stays accurate.
• Contribute to transformation and continuous improvement work.
• Encourage sound IT governance and Change Management practice.
• Work within the project management standards and templates in place.
• Give useful feedback and help the team improve.

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of project management experience.
• You have a good working knowledge of information systems management.
• You are highly skilled at running system implementations that integrate closely with market middleware.
• You work confidently in Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and in SharePoint, Jira and Power BI.
• You are skilled at organising, communicating, managing stakeholders and solving problems.
• You can work independently and handle complex, stressful situations.
• You are results-driven, think critically, adapt easily and look for ways to improve continuously.
• You are eager to learn.
• You are proficient in Portuguese.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English.
• Valued: spoken and written Spanish.
• Valued: experience on projects involving several system integrations.
• Valued: consulting project experience.
• Valued: previous work on projects delivered with the organisation named in the brief.
