Description

The company runs local news and services across 64 television stations in 51 U.S. markets, reaching more than 100 million people each month through websites, mobile apps, streaming, and linear TV.

This role manages the day-to-day operations of the network-wide sponsorship business. You will work with B2B integrated marketing leadership, sales leaders, and commercial production managers (CPMs) across stations and markets to create sponsorship sales materials and coordinate delivery on larger sponsorships.

You will connect sales, creative, production, and station teams so the right packages are live, people have the information they need, and every commitment gets fulfilled.

Success looks like sales teams having current, accurate sponsorship materials that are easy to find, no retired packages showing up in active proposals, and larger sponsorships delivered on time with stations and CPMs clear on scope and their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing and sales leaders to build and refine sponsorship packages, including their names, tiers, and deliverables.
  • Act as the link between stations and CPMs on cross-market and multi-deliverable sponsorships.
  • Define and organize scope, timelines, and deliverable requirements, then share them clearly with the relevant CPMs and station teams.
  • Track and route the deliverables required to fulfill larger sponsorship commitments, and raise risks or gaps early.
  • Carry out sponsorship tasks as needed.
  • Keep a clear record of which packages are active and which are retired, and flag any materials or proposals that reference a retired package.
  • Take notes and action items during sponsorship reviews, and archive completed packages in Box.
  • Work with tech operations and design on process improvements.
  • Keep process documentation up to date, watch for trends across sponsorships, and recommend ways to streamline the workflow.
  • Manage several sponsorships at once across different stages, from package build through fulfillment.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in project management, broadcast or media operations, sales support, or marketing operations.
  • A track record of coordinating across sales, creative, and production teams.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to produce polished, sales-ready materials.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com (or similar), document management platforms such as Box, and production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple sponsorships at the same time.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid setup.
  • Preferred: experience in local broadcast, television, or digital media.
  • Preferred: familiarity with sponsorship sales, packaging, or fulfillment workflows.
  • Preferred: experience working with distributed teams across multiple markets.

Conditions

The role is remote or hybrid.

Some jobs are covered by a collective bargaining agreement, so some or all of the benefits below may not apply to those roles. For example, some newsroom bargaining unit employees receive health and retirement benefits through union-administered plans.

Benefits

  • Full and part-time employees can choose from two medical plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, plus dental and eye care coverage, fertility, surrogacy, and adoption assistance, and disability and life insurance.
  • The 401(k) lets full, part-time, and temporary employees contribute 1% to 80% of pay on a pre-tax basis. The company matches 100% of the first 4% of pay, and those matched contributions are fully vested from day one.
  • All employees and their eligible family members get nine free virtual doctor visits per year through Teladoc and 12 free therapy sessions per year with a licensed clinician through Spring Health, whether or not they enroll in the medical plans.
  • Generous paid time off and nine paid holidays per year.
