Program Manager III

Description

The company works on scientific tools and solutions that help customers make the world healthier, cleaner and safer, including work on environmental protection, food safety and cancer research.

This is a Program Manager III role on the cross-functional programs team, based in the office on a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

You will move strategic initiatives from concept to commercialization, helping deliver new products and solutions in life sciences, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through the stage-gate Product Commercialization Process, managing scope, schedule, budget and risk while keeping work aligned with business objectives.
• Build working relationships with stakeholders at every level and encourage collaboration across matrix organizations.
• Support data-driven decisions, spot risks early and mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• An advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, in life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device product development.
• Preferred fields of study: biology, chemistry, engineering or a related discipline.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• 3+ years of technical project or program management experience leading complex initiatives.
• Proven command of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Solid understanding of stage-gate product development and quality management systems.
• Experience managing program budgets, timelines, resources and stakeholder communications.
• Strong team leadership with a track record in collaborative settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project and SharePoint.
• Strong organization and time management, including handling multiple concurrent projects.
• Travel of up to 15% may be required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional setting.
