Description

The company delivers engineering, architecture and infrastructure programs for Prime System Integrators (OEMs), federal defense agencies and aerospace clients.

You will run interdependent efforts spanning planning, design, construction, modernization, testing, integration, sustainment and mission-support infrastructure.

The work covers defense, aerospace, space, missile and national security programs, where coordination, quality and reliable delivery matter most.

The company is a global infrastructure firm with over 50,000 staff and a Fortune 500 ranking, reporting $16.1 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2025, working in water, environment, energy, transportation and buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run programs covering engineering, architecture, infrastructure modernization, mission-support facilities and capital improvement.
  • Manage dependencies among manufacturing engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and equipment partners.

  • Handle program risk, configuration changes, constraints and recovery actions that affect production goals.
  • Report to executives on finances, schedule, production risk and decisions that need leadership action.
  • Mentor project managers and technical leads, keeping work aligned with client commitments and contract terms.
  • Lead program reviews and track design, construction, commissioning, testing, occupancy and mission-readiness milestones.
  • Support capture management, pursuit strategy and proposal development for engineering, architecture, construction or federal services contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline, plus 10+ years of program or project management on defense, aerospace, federal, architecture, engineering, infrastructure or other complex technical programs, including 2 years in a leadership role or an equivalent mix of experience and education.
  • US citizenship is required because of the nature of the work.
  • Preferred: 20+ years of program or project management leading defense, aerospace, space, missile, national security or mission-critical infrastructure programs.
  • Preferred: experience working with Prime System Integrators such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing Defense, RTX, General Dynamics, L3Harris, BAE Systems, etc. on engineering, architecture, facility, infrastructure or mission-support programs.
  • Preferred: experience coordinating primes, OEMs and specialized suppliers on complex manufacturing programs.
  • Preferred: experience with spacecraft, launch systems, missile systems, weapons integration, laboratories, secure facilities, test complexes, mission-critical infrastructure or defense sustainment facilities.
  • Preferred: PMP or PgMP certification.
  • Preferred: experience with defense acquisition requirements, mission assurance, risk management, configuration management and executive-level contract reporting.
  • Preferred: experience leading large, geographically spread organizations and driving enterprise-level transformation.
