  • Mentor technical and project management staff for long-term continuity, and bring in new engineering methods and digital tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum: a BA or BS in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related technical field, plus ten years of related experience, or equivalent experience and/or education, including two years in leadership.
  • Minimum: experience with federal contracting, project controls, financial management, and quality assurance programs, including DOE facility requirements, nuclear safety practice, and engineering standards such as Integrated Safety Management.
  • Preferred: a PE license or PMP certification.
  • Preferred: experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and projects of similar scope and complexity.
  • Preferred: direct work with DOE national laboratories or other nuclear and fusion research facilities.
  • Preferred: experience managing engineering services under DOE BOA or IDIQ contracts.
  • Preferred: familiarity with DOE-STD-3009-2014, NQA-1, and commercial grade dedication rules.
