Description

The company is building out its cloud and data protection products and needs someone to keep programs moving from concept through launch. This role sets up integrated plans, aligns owners and dependencies, clears delivery blockers, and gets decisions made on time. Product Managers, Architects, and Analysts keep ownership of customer insight, strategy, solution design, and innovation, while Product leadership gets a clear picture of portfolio health, delivery confidence, and where they need to step in.

Responsibilities

  • Turn product direction into integrated execution plans that set outcomes, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Keep a single view of your assigned programs, judge delivery confidence, and propose changes to sequencing, priority, or resourcing when constraints put outcomes at risk.
  • Run regular program and portfolio reviews that record commitments, clear blockers, and escalate open risks with impacts, options, and the decisions needed.
  • Use the Product Development Lifecycle as a working framework so stage-gate criteria, deliverables, readiness decisions, and approvals happen without unnecessary waiting.
  • Set up proportionate program controls: integrated plans, risk, assumption, issue, and dependency logs, RACI matrices, decision records, launch-readiness criteria, and executive status reports.
  • Find the root causes of recurring delays, simplify cross-functional handoffs, and coach initiative owners on governance, escalation, and tooling.
  • Work with Product Managers to turn priorities and innovation concepts into executable programs, while they keep ownership of customer insight, strategy, business outcomes, and roadmap.
  • Handle cross-functional dependencies and conflicts over scope, timelines, requirements, handoffs, or resources, and escalate when teams cannot agree.
  • Present your programs in cross-functional planning, governance, and executive review meetings.
  • Maintain dependable portfolio reporting on milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, capacity limits, and recovery actions so leaders can judge confidence and step in.
  • Supply program input for roadmap reviews, quarterly business reviews, and resourcing discussions, with clear impacts, options, and tradeoff recommendations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years leading complex cross-functional projects or programs in a technology, cloud, infrastructure, or managed services organization.
  • A record of owning complex programs from planning to completion, including integrated schedules, risks, dependencies, executive communication, and recovery from delivery problems.
  • Solid grounding in project and program management: setting up governance, managing scope and change, resolving dependencies, and improving delivery practice.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to run several concurrent projects and priorities on your own.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, able to turn complex program information into short executive updates, decision requests, risk assessments, tradeoff recommendations, and recovery plans.
  • Working proficiency in Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or Monday.com, plus Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience building integrated schedules, logs, RACI matrices, decision records, and executive reports.
  • Preferred: experience leading programs in product management, cloud, managed services, or infrastructure technology, working closely with Product Managers, Product Architects, Engineering, and operations teams.
  • Preferred: familiarity with PDLC frameworks and stage-gate or agile methods.
  • Preferred: experience assessing resource constraints and building practical sequencing, tradeoff, or recovery plans.
  • Preferred: PMP, PgMP, or a comparable project or program management certification.
  • Preferred: experience leading complex partner or vendor workstreams that affect product milestones, technical readiness, or launch outcomes.
