Description

The company builds defense products, including multi-product systems for warfighters, commercial air operators, and border protection teams, all running on its own distributed network technology.

Founded in 2022, the company has raised $1 billion from investors including 8VC, Accel, and Valor Equity Partners. It is headquartered in Los Angeles and has offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and London.

This is the first hire for a new project management office inside Security Business Operations. You will shape how that office creates its processes and will own security projects at every company location, reporting to the Director of Security Business Operations.

  • Run the company's stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain RAID logs.
  • Visit new build kickoff sites to spot challenges and chances to add systems technology.
  • Work with IT and other departments and project managers so projects stay on schedule and form one connected project management network.
  • Coordinate work across several time zones.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • An active PMP certification.
  • A U.S. person.
  • A record of running several concurrent projects from start to finish, including charters, schedules, plans, budgets, and documentation.
  • Experience leading vendor sourcing and contracts, including RFPs, proposal evaluation, and purchase and change orders.
  • Experience overseeing design consultants, integrators, and contractors through construction administration, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong skills in budget and stakeholder management, including status reporting and executive communication.
  • Experience with document control, change management, and QA/QC governance.
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet and Jira, and familiarity with several AI platforms.
  • Military or defense industry experience.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise security systems such as access control, video, intercom, radio, and visitor management.
  • Preferred: experience delivering projects across international sites and time zones.
  • Preferred: an active security clearance.
  • Preferred: ability to work autonomously.
  • Preferred: extreme ownership of your work.
