You will lead a set of connected technology programs supporting Real Estate & Facility Services worldwide.
You turn REFS strategy into technology roadmaps, integrated plans and outcomes you can measure, coordinating the business, DDIT, architecture, security, procurement, finance, operations and external partners while keeping governance, budget control and clear reporting in place.
The aim is to make sure these linked initiatives create lasting business value, meet company standards and move into operations smoothly, including responsible use of AI, automation and robotics where they bring measurable operational benefit.
Responsibilities
Shape multi-year REFS technology programs and roadmaps that match business priorities and DDIT strategy, turning them into concrete plans with measurable outcomes. Challenge risks, dependencies, scope and investment choices early.
Run programs from demand and initiation through design, build, rollout, adoption, handover to operations and benefits tracking.
Set up proportionate governance in line with DDIT and REFS standards, including phase gates, steering committees, decision forums and a reporting rhythm. Prepare executive status updates, decision papers, risk assessments, financial views and recommendations.
Own program budgets, forecasts, spend control and variance management. Work with Finance and Procurement on sourcing, commercial models, SOWs, purchase requests and change controls. Tie every commercial commitment to defined deliverables, milestones, acceptance criteria and outcomes.
Manage complex delivery involving strategic suppliers, system integrators, SaaS providers and local implementation partners. Hold them to contract terms, quality, dates, risks, dependencies and recovery actions, and fold their plans into the master plan and readiness and governance checks.
Serve as the senior link between REFS leadership, DDIT domains, regional and site stakeholders and external partners. Drive alignment, change management, communications, training and adoption.
Make sure solutions meet enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, quality, regulatory and service management requirements. Find and resolve cross-platform, integration, data, infrastructure, security and site readiness issues early. Before go-live, define operational ownership, support models, documentation, service acceptance and hypercare.
Find practical AI, intelligent automation and robotics opportunities across workplace, facilities, protective security, capital projects and building operations. Lead pilots and scaled rollouts with clear success measures, human oversight and named operational owners. Check each solution for architecture, security, privacy, data, safety, regulatory, ethical and service management needs before deployment. Assess vendors and new technologies on business value, integration feasibility, scalability, risk and total cost of ownership.
