Description

This is a product and digital marketing manager role on the Spain and Portugal marketing team, based in Madrid.

You will lead marketing strategy and execution for the company's robotic surgery systems, advanced technologies, instruments and accessories, and digital solutions across Iberia.

You will shape value messaging, build relationships with key opinion leaders, and work with Iberia and EU marketing, sales and ecosystem teams to grow adoption and use in target procedures.

The company is a pioneer and market leader in robotic-assisted surgery and has worked with hospitals and care teams worldwide for more than 25 years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the existing robotic systems, advanced technologies, instruments and accessories, and digital portfolios using product management methods.
  • Build go-to-market plans for new products across several surgical specialties, working with clinical marketing, sales leadership and training on launch tactics that drive use.
  • Bring the digital portfolio into the commercial teams so the full ecosystem gains awareness and adoption in line with business goals.
  • Work with key customers to set up reference centers that speed up adoption and use of robotic systems, advanced technologies and digital solutions.
  • Produce clinical and economic reference stories and marketing materials that explain the value of the company's technologies.
  • With Sales Operations, build scalable analytics tools that track the portfolio, competitors and opportunities, so data guides marketing and sales decisions.
  • Spot and spread best practices through key opinion leaders and field sales to reduce regional differences in adoption and use.
  • Find and develop product champions for current and new products in each surgical specialty.
  • With key opinion leaders and European product marketing, create localized value propositions and messages.
  • Join regional and European marketing and sales at conferences, trade shows, executive education, market development and key customer events to run product demonstrations, give technology presentations and make sure core messages appear in company-sponsored talks and customer contacts.
  • Increase energy and stapling use across Spain and Portugal by rolling out new sales tools and materials.
  • Build procedural knowledge and strong surgeon relationships by attending cases and working with regional and EU marketing.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in life sciences or business.
  • Have 8+ years of experience in a medical device or therapeutic company.
  • Have 4+ years of clinical or product marketing experience in a medical device or therapeutic company.
  • Have a record of positioning, launching and messaging products or procedures.
  • Work creatively, set priorities and manage goals and initiatives that compete with each other.
  • Bring commercial judgment to drive product adoption.
  • Solve problems on your own and set up solutions in a fast-growing, high-pressure setting.
  • Communicate and present well in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Build good working relationships with many kinds of stakeholders.
  • Manage projects and budgets, organize work and handle many tasks at once.
  • Know the MS Office suite well.
  • Travel 20-30%, including international travel.
  • Preferred: Chartered Institute of Marketing membership or an Advanced Diploma.

Conditions

Based in Madrid, with office days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Some roles may be subject to U.S. export controls for nationals of embargoed or sanctioned countries, so offers may depend on an export license, which can take 3 to 6+ months, or a Technology Control Plan, which typically adds 2 weeks, both completed before the start date.

The role may be filled at a different level based on business need and the candidate's experience, and pay depends mainly on that level and the candidate's qualifications, as allowed by law.

Applicants with arrest or conviction records are considered under fair chance laws.
