Product Owner - Secure Service Edge

The company is hiring a Product Owner for its Secure Service Edge team.

The team owns and builds Secure Service Edge capabilities that protect users, devices, data, and access to the internet and private applications.

The work covers secure internet access, private application access, data protection, and threat prevention, and connecting SSE with the wider security and technology landscape.

The team looks after the platform across its full life: design, build, integration, operation, and ongoing improvement.

The team is based in Katowice, Poland, and combines cybersecurity and engineering specialists who build modern, scalable security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the product portfolio for Secure Service Edge and related security capabilities.
• Set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Rank features and capabilities by security, business, and regulatory needs.
• Define and maintain security standards and guardrails for the SSE product area.
• Drive the rollout and uptake of SSE capabilities across the organization.
• Coordinate how SSE connects with existing endpoint, network, identity, and security tools.
• Work closely with engineering teams, security stakeholders, and other technology domains.
• Manage stakeholders spread across several countries and organizational units.
• Maintain the product backlog and turn strategic objectives into concrete initiatives.
• Make sure delivered capabilities meet security, compliance, availability, and scalability requirements.

Requirements

• You have experience managing cybersecurity products or services.
• You have a strong background in Secure Service Edge (SSE), network security, and endpoint security.
• You understand security concepts for secure internet access, private application access, data protection, and threat prevention.
• You understand software engineering concepts and security platform integration.
• You have worked in complex, international team setups.
• You drive innovation and cooperation across engineering, security, and business teams.
• You stay effective when priorities shift or unexpected situations arise.
• You adapt your ways of working as requirements change quickly.
• You are open to international travel.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can turn technical and business needs into suitable solutions.
• You have English at C1 level.
• Extra points: experience with SSE/SASE platforms.
• Extra points: experience with SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, and cloud-based security controls.
• Extra points: project or product management experience.
• Extra points: understanding of Zero Trust security concepts.
• Extra points: experience with Azure DevOps and backlog management.
• Extra points: experience in large, international organizations and regulated environments.

Conditions

Location: Katowice, Poland.

Salary: 17,300 - 33,000 PLN gross.

The ranges in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the pay ranges in the remuneration regulations.

The role carries the title 'Product Manager IV' under the company's global job architecture.
