Description

The company makes products for homes and commercial spaces in the water, outdoors and security categories, with a growing focus on digital solutions. This internship sits on the Retail team and covers the full product portfolio lifecycle, from early concept to products on store shelves.

You will work with marketing, engineering and sales colleagues to study market trends, collect customer insight and help shape data-driven category strategy. The role involves real business problems, refining go-to-market plans, supporting lifecycle work and taking part in product launches that support retail growth.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze competitor data, pricing and retail market trends to inform category strategy and product positioning.
  • Support product managers through stage-gate development by organizing requirements, tracking timelines and compiling voice-of-customer research.
  • Help audit existing product lines by reviewing SKU performance, pricing and inventory to inform lifecycle decisions.
  • Work with brand and channel marketing to review and organize sales enablement tools, point-of-purchase displays, packaging layouts and digital content.
  • Answer day-to-day questions from sales and customer teams about product features, sample requests and availability.

Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program, preferably in business, marketing, supply chain or a related field.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You communicate well in writing, speaking and one-on-one settings.
  • Preferred: You have internship, coursework or project experience in basic business, marketing or retail concepts.
  • Preferred: You can turn complex data into clear, fact-based insights and recommendations.
  • Preferred: You are genuinely interested in how consumer products are designed, packaged and sold in stores or online.
  • Preferred: You stay organized, pay close attention to detail and can manage several priorities on your own.
  • Preferred: You enjoy collaborating in a cross-functional, matrixed team.

Conditions

The base salary range is $33,300 USD to $45,760 USD. Actual pay may fall above or below this range depending on education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need and location.

In addition to base salary, you will take part in either an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.

The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health coverage and wellbeing support, including flexible time off and adoption benefits.
  • A competitive 401(k) program with a company contribution.
  • Product discounts.
  • Employee resource groups that build a sense of belonging.
