Description

The company is a UK-headquartered business management software provider. It serves more than 160,000 small and mid-sized organisations across Europe, the USA and APAC, and employs over 9,300 people.

The role sits on the team behind a product that helps tradespeople run their businesses. The company aims for the product to reach millions of users worldwide.

The company is focused on an inclusive, high-performing culture where people can grow.

Responsibilities

  • Sit down with the cycle team to hear about the problems they are stuck on, help them weigh their options, and make the calls needed to get the squad moving again.
  • Work with the Product Owner and business analyst to check timing and confirm the solution is heading in the right direction.
  • Attend sessions with the Chief Product Officer and Product Director to plan where the roadmap should go over the coming months.
  • Keep researching and shaping the brief for the next cycle of work, using Claude.
  • Speak with users and pull data through MCP to understand what is happening with a feature you recently released.
  • Work with peers to improve the AI tool chain the team uses in daily work.
  • Write a go-to-market brief for the Product Marketing Manager to take forward on the next major change.
  • Make sure the team understands the strategic goals, along with the specifics and open questions in your product brief.
  • Use AI to explore several framings of an opportunity, test assumptions, model trade-offs and summarise customer feedback at scale, applying your own judgement throughout.
  • The work runs in cycles, often around 6 weeks long. Each cycle has a dedicated team that designs, builds and tests solutions Product Managers have recommended to the business.

Requirements

  • Skills and experience that might also apply:
  • A bachelor's degree plus five years in product management, product design, UX design, business analysis, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Substantial experience designing and building digital products or services, with user-centred design at the core.
  • Deep working knowledge of AI tools. You know when to rely on their output, when to override it, and how to verify what they produce.
  • Skill in understanding consumer behaviour and needs, including using AI to analyse customer feedback and checking the results.
  • A solid grasp of product development and UX design for digital products and services. You keep up with AI design tools and use them to move faster without losing quality.
  • You thrive in a high-performing, team-based setting that delivers meaningful digital solutions.
  • You can act as a subject matter expert and coach others on product development, business cases and product design in a workplace where AI is part of the work.
  • You are highly organised and self-motivated, with a clear focus on the bigger picture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • You believe tradespeople do important work and that helping them succeed is rewarding.
  • You want your work to improve people's lives, and you believe it should be enjoyable.
