The work involves open-ended, 0-to-1 problems. You will set up the insights, measurement frameworks and analysis that shape product strategy, investment calls, risk trade-offs and long-term growth.

The company is a digital financial services business operating in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and the US. It offers point-of-sale credit and digital payments to millions of customers through tens of thousands of merchants.

This role is remote-first for US-based staff, with the option to work from the Manhattan office.

Responsibilities

  • Examine user behavior across your assigned product funnels and turn findings into recommendations that help customers and the business.
  • Work with product managers on the company's top initiatives, checking results against their hypotheses.
  • Share funnel findings and recommendations early with product, design and engineering partners.
  • Run the weekly reporting on key funnel metrics and product analytics, investigating discrepancies and reconciling them or escalating when needed.
  • Build and maintain the product analytics catalog so the data stays structured and ready for decisions.
  • Keep the broader analytics team informed and flag upcoming work to the data organization.
  • Maintain the A/B testing catalog and keep it current with clear, actionable experiment learnings.
  • Create and maintain a central repository of competitor funnel screenshots and research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, computer science or data analytics.
  • 2+ years in product analytics, product operations or growth, ideally in tech or fintech.
  • Hands-on analytics experience at a fintech or e-commerce company, with examples of finding funnel opportunities that improved customer and business outcomes.
  • A track record of turning complex data into clear insights that guide decisions.
  • Strong SQL skills for writing, validating and troubleshooting queries.
  • Proficiency in at least one visualization tool, such as Looker, Tableau or Amplitude.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and experience reading A/B test results.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting data to influence stakeholders.
  • A highly organized, systems-minded approach to building catalogs and documentation that scale.
  • Curious and collaborative, comfortable working with many stakeholders.
  • You have demonstrated how you use AI in your work.
  • Bonus: experience with competitive research or user journey mapping.
  • Advanced degree or formal training in data analytics or product strategy is a plus.

Conditions
