We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and customer experience for key areas of the HP app. This role requires an experienced product leader who can combine customer insights, business objectives, data, and market trends to deliver experiences that increase customer satisfaction, engagement, retention, and growth.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will work across engineering, design, analytics, marketing, customer support, and business teams to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and HP.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for major areas of the HP app.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through research, customer feedback, behavioral analytics, and market insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and business performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product discovery, prioritization, development, launch, and optimization.
  • Drive alignment among stakeholders and senior leaders on product direction and investment priorities.
  • Establish measurable goals, success metrics, and KPIs for product initiatives.
  • Leverage analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to inform product decisions and validate outcomes.
  • Partner with UX, engineering, and business teams to create seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Monitor competitive trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Mentor product managers and help strengthen product management practices across the organization.

  • Extensive experience leading software or digital product initiatives with significant customer and business impact.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving customer problems.
  • Proven ability to define strategy, prioritize investments, and execute in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in agile software development environments.
  • Familiarity with experimentation, product analytics, customer journey mapping, and growth frameworks.

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree relevant area or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in product management, digital products, software, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success delivering customer-focused products at scale.
  • Experience working across engineering, design, analytics, and business organizations to drive measurable outcomes.

Conditions

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
