Description

The company develops medical technology and serves hospitals and clinics worldwide, with more than 72,000 employees in over 70 countries.

This is a field product manager role for the Eastern U.S. sales region, reporting to the Area Vice President of Sales as a trusted partner on growth.

The role is planned as a 1 to 3 year assignment and could lead to larger responsibilities if it goes well.

It suits a sales professional who wants to move into leading sales, marketing, or commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the regional sales process so the Area sales team performs at its best, including proper use of the CRM and tools and structured customer engagement.
  • Lead the regional rollout of demo trucks and VIP visits at headquarters, and help build local and Area reference sites across the full DX product portfolio.
  • Work with the NAM marketing, finance, sales enablement, and commercial teams to help the Area meet or beat revenue and profit targets.
  • Act as the Area's finance contact, make sure deals are accurately prepared, and coach the team on building and submitting proposals for approval.
  • Manage the funnel and pipeline across all product lines, including prospect and retention deals, so there are enough prospects to hit goals and process gaps get fixed.
  • Oversee new hires after sales training, and find, develop, and assign sales mentors.
  • Close skill gaps the AVP and Head of Sales identify, with a plan to build team capability.
  • Keep opportunities in the CRM accurate and current with Sales Enablement, and use that data to find activity gaps and produce reliable bottom-up forecasts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience diagnosing front-line sales performance.
  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, territory forecasting, and building sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions.
  • Experience in training and development, especially coaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to juggle several priorities and projects at once.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to decide based on data.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred: experience building account-level deal strategies using Miller Heiman and organising teams to execute them.
  • Preferred: solid relationship management and proven collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: ability to work effectively in a matrixed organisation.
  • A valid driver's license in your state of residence, and no prior DUI or DWI convictions, no pending DUI or DWI charges, and no other serious moving violations, unless state or local law prohibits that restriction. This role is governed by the company's Fleet Safety Policy.

Conditions

The base pay range is $116,000 to $159,500. Starting pay within this range depends on factors such as geography or market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

The role may be commission eligible, with commissions following the company plan and based on individual and/or company performance.

You must have full access to client sites and meet the vendor credentialing requirements each client sets, including during employment, unless the law prohibits it. These may include ID checks, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and will provide reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities on request.

Export control: you must be able to work with controlled technology under US export control law, which the company follows under the EAR, ITAR, and OFAC sanctions rules.
