Principal Enterprise Architect - RISE

Description

The company sells enterprise applications and business AI across finance, procurement, HR, supply chain and customer experience, and has done so for more than 50 years.

You will join the enterprise architecture group in the customer services and delivery unit, a worldwide team that helps customers through large transformations.

This is a senior advisory role. You will work directly with C-level leaders and with account teams on long-term architecture decisions. The team leads the company's RISE with SAP and Clean Core strategy, and this role is central to it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern architecture across business, application, data and technology, tied to each customer's goals.
• Guide customers through their cloud move with RISE with SAP, from enterprise archetypes to digital scaling and Clean Core adoption.
• Act as transformation partner to the CIO and CxO, setting success plans, value drivers and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Speed up adoption of SAP BTP, SAP Business AI and Clean Core, spotting and reducing technical adoption risks.
• Coordinate stakeholders across the customer organisation to align business goals and improve value realisation.
• Work with account teams to grow SAP adoption and bring customers and partners in line with the company's cloud strategy.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, including holistic model design across business, application, data and technology.
• Hands-on knowledge of RISE with SAP, Clean Core principles and the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, including SAP LeanIX, Signavio and Cloud ALM.
• Solid working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and S/4HANA across application development, automation, analytics, integration and AI.
• Proven ability to engage at CxO level and tie architecture decisions to business goals and value outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the creative thinking and learning agility to keep up as the role changes.
• A practical approach to AI, using AI-assisted tools and automation to work more effectively and build better solutions.
• A degree is not required.
