Description

The role is hybrid, with an expectation of about 2 days per week in an office of the company.

The company is building a new networking business by combining two networking firms, and this role sits within the Lead-to-Cash program. The program unifies quoting, ordering and fulfillment across the combined networking portfolio on one platform, replacing older fragmented systems for sellers, partners and customers worldwide.

The program is a fast-moving, multi-year transformation. The team will stabilize near-term operations, migrate core platforms, onboard businesses and suppliers globally, and build new capabilities from scratch. You will work with business leaders, IT architects, suppliers and partners, with direct executive visibility, on integration problems at a scale few companies attempt.

You will help build a business unit from its earliest days rather than inherit existing systems, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise platform integration and cross-functional program leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end pricing architecture across enterprise applications and channels.
  • Design scalable pricing solutions that handle many products, customers, markets, channels, currencies, contracts and pricing models.
  • Assess current pricing solutions and recommend where to modernize, simplify and standardize.
  • Produce current-state and future-state pricing architecture and solution designs.
  • Guide development teams technically and review their designs against business and pricing requirements.
  • Define pricing data models, interfaces, APIs and integration patterns.
  • Weigh scalability, performance, availability, security, maintainability and configurability in pricing solutions.
  • Where relevant, support cloud, microservices, API-based and event-driven pricing architectures.
  • Define how pricing information flows between the pricing engine and other enterprise systems.
  • Design pricing APIs, services, events, interfaces and data contracts.
  • Work with integration teams to connect pricing capabilities to other systems.
  • Define pricing request and response structures and how downstream systems consume them.
  • Support both real-time and batch pricing integrations.
