Description

You would be one of the first people in a new forward-deployed role, placed between presales and product rather than fully inside either.

The work goes beyond running demos and closing deals. You would work closely with the company's most important prospects and customers, find agentic use cases that change their business, and prove them quickly on the company's platform.

Proofs of concept that work well do not stay with one account. They become standard platform capability and reach every customer.

The role suits someone who enjoys working face to face with customers and thinks like a product person throughout, tackling complex problems whose value the customer can see in a short proof-of-value cycle.

The company has more than $1 billion in revenue and over 6,000 employees across all continents. Its AI technology underpins its enterprise software, which helps customers perform at the moment of service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full path from first conversation to working proof, including discovery with prospects and customers, spotting agentic use cases with real business value, and building convincing solutions as proofs of concept in weeks rather than months.
  • Present one proof of concept in two ways: a hands-on technical walkthrough for architects and a business case for executives, sometimes within the same week.
  • Work with account executives to earn technical validation on live deals, and with product and engineering to turn repeated patterns into platform features.
  • Feed field findings on what works, what fails and what customers request into the agentic platform roadmap.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up prototyping and move quickly.
  • Judge whether a use case is real and buildable or a distraction, and scope proofs that make the point without overbuilding.
  • Train core presales staff on standard platform capability and digital workers, and run ongoing workshops around the world.

Requirements

  • You enjoy working with customers, from whiteboard sessions with a VP of Operations to tuning multi-agent workflows.
  • You have worked in presales or solutions engineering, covering discovery, demos, proofs of concept and objection handling, and you know how to move a technical evaluation toward a decision.
  • You think like a product person and can separate a one-off customer request from a pattern worth building into the platform.
  • You are hands-on with agentic AI, including multi-agent design, tool use, human-in-the-loop patterns and orchestration platforms such as the company's agent builder or comparable tools.
  • You understand asset-intensive industries such as Enterprise Asset Management, Field Service Management, Manufacturing, or Aerospace & Defense well enough to lead a credible discussion without a subject matter expert.
  • You communicate credibly with developers working deep in APIs and with CEOs focused on risk and ROI.
  • You have a track record in presales, solutions engineering or forward-deployed roles, with real product instincts. Former founders and builders who have shipped 0-to-1 products are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • You have worked in a forward-deployed, applied AI or founding engineering role at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
  • You have turned field learnings into product requirements or roadmap input.
  • You know LLMs, retrieval systems and agent evaluation frameworks well.
  • You have sold or deployed software into asset-intensive or regulated industries such as aerospace and defense, energy or manufacturing.

Conditions

Pay range is $190,000 to $230,000 OTE per year.

You must be willing to travel to customer sites, approximately 25-50% of the time.

The company is a federal contractor covered by VEVRAA, a drug-free workplace, and it welcomes applications from women, minorities, people with disabilities and veterans.

Benefits

  • Flexible paid time off, including sick and holiday leave.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • 401K with company contribution.
  • Flexible spending accounts.
  • Life insurance and disability benefits.
  • Tuition assistance.
  • Community involvement and volunteering events.
