Description

The company offers the most current way for people to link their consumer financial accounts. Its API combines real-time access to liability accounts with instant payment execution, so people can connect those accounts to the apps they choose.

More than 45 million users have linked over 350 million liability accounts without sharing credentials, and more than $2.5B in payments have been processed, helping users save millions in interest.

One in three US credit cards sits within the company's ecosystem. Lenders and fintechs including SoFi, Bilt, Cleo, Sezzle, Figure and Aven build on its APIs.

The team has 50+ people working from offices in Austin, SF, New York City and Washington D.C. Backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Emergence Capital, Y Combinator, Avra and Ardent.

The largest customers are planning their next financial products. This role helps shape those products and turns the ideas into growth for both the customer and the company.

As the dedicated product partner for a group of the most strategic accounts, you will work with senior product leaders to understand their goals, find opportunities they have not yet considered, and form a clear view of what the platform can do. You will bring your own ideas, help develop theirs, and own the work from first conversation to launch, coordinating Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success.

You will join early and help set how the company works with its largest customers on new products and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy for the largest accounts, finding new initiatives and revenue with each customer.
  • Be the first call customers make for anything new involving the company, building trust with their CPOs and product leaders.
  • Bring in Sales, Customer Success, Implementation and Engineering at the right moments to deliver initiatives.
  • Put ideas in front of customers early, learn from their reaction, and adjust quickly.
  • Guide strategy for getting more value out of existing customer integrations.
  • Help write the playbook for forward-deployed coverage as it expands to more accounts.

Requirements

  • Background in consulting, client services, customer success, solutions or account management, and strong performance in front of senior customers.
  • Product judgment, from working as a PM or from shaping what gets built from the customer side.
  • Technical enough to discuss APIs, data flows and performance tradeoffs with engineers and product leaders.
  • Persistence on hard problems, and willingness to start without a complete plan.
  • Bias toward action: test an idea with the customer rather than talking yourself out of it.
  • Care about craft and doing the work properly.
  • Comfort working reactively, running with customer ideas, and proactively, pursuing your own.
  • Already use AI tools to work faster day to day.
  • Extra Awesome: experience at a fintech, lending, payments or financial data company such as Plaid, Stripe, Cash App or SoFi.
  • Extra Awesome: background at a top consulting firm before moving into an operator role such as CS, bizops, solutions or product.
  • Extra Awesome: exposure to lending, underwriting or credit data.
