Description

Construction, engineering and other project-driven industries depend on their people, skills and operational resources. Organisations have to balance productivity, compliance, utilisation and cost, while making sure the right resources are in place at the right time.

The company is hiring a senior product manager to help shape strategy, discovery and delivery for operational workforce and resource management products. The focus is Construction & Engineering and closely related industries.

You will take product initiatives from early discovery through to adoption. That means working with customers, engineers, designers and industry specialists to test opportunities, build business cases and deliver results that can be measured.

The role is based in the United Kingdom but covers North America, Europe and APMJA. You will partner with customers, outside partners and internal teams to find opportunities, confirm needs and deliver solutions that add measurable business value.

The role calls for solid product leadership and strategic thinking, along with genuine interest in using AI, automation and new technologies on complex workforce and operations problems.

Responsibilities

  • Help set product strategy and shape roadmaps for your assigned product areas and investments.
  • Turn customer needs, market trends and industry knowledge into focused investment decisions.
  • Weigh customer value, commercial opportunity and the long-term evolution of the platform against each other.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Talk directly with customers to learn about their challenges, priorities and goals.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners and industry experts.
  • Test opportunities before any investment is approved.
  • Set up design partners and lighthouse customers to support discovery and adoption.
  • Turn customer problems into product outcomes, user experiences and success measures.
  • Lead prototyping, validation and repeated rounds of discovery.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Use AI to speed up discovery, innovation and product definition.
  • Build evidence-based investment cases.
  • Carry initiatives from discovery through to adoption.
  • Support positioning, launch and customer engagement.
  • Track success through adoption, customer results and business impact.
  • Promote an AI-first approach, looking for ways automation, intelligence and agentic experiences can change workforce-heavy industries.
  • Find ways to make work simpler through intelligent automation.
  • Explore new ways of interacting with products and new user experiences.
  • Make sure AI-enabled capabilities deliver outcomes that are trustworthy and measurable.
  • Work with customers to shape the next generation of workforce experiences on the company Cloud.
  • Stay focused on customers and on solving problems that matter, valuing impact over shipping features.
  • Balance customer value with business growth in a commercially aware way.
  • Understand how operational and project-driven organisations work.
  • Stay curious about AI and new technologies.
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, design and go-to-market teams.
  • Be comfortable with data, integrations, platforms and AI in technical discussions.
  • Bring clarity to complex, ambiguous challenges.
  • Stay hands-on in discovery, validation and customer conversations.
  • Help raise the standard of product management across the team.

Requirements

  • Experience managing products in SaaS, workforce management, resource management, field service or enterprise software.
  • Experience contributing to product strategy, roadmaps, discovery, delivery and adoption.
  • Experience with workforce planning, scheduling, time and attendance, resource management, labour compliance, payroll integration or workforce analytics.
  • Understanding of operationally intensive industries such as Construction & Engineering, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Telecommunications or Field Service.
  • Experience working with customers across several regions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Desirable: experience with workforce management, resource planning, scheduling, payroll, HCM or operational workforce solutions.
  • Desirable: experience in construction, engineering, energy, utilities, manufacturing or other project-centric industries.
  • Desirable: understanding of workforce productivity, compliance, payroll and workforce analytics.
  • Desirable: experience building AI-enabled enterprise software products.
  • Desirable: familiarity with AI, automation and agentic experiences.
  • Desirable: experience modernising enterprise SaaS products.
  • Desirable: exposure to business case development, pricing, monetisation or product P&L ownership.
  • Desirable: experience setting up design partner or customer co-innovation programmes.
  • Desirable: degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
