Platform Engineer (DevOps, Quality & Reliability)

Description

The client is a leader in locomotive leasing and maintenance and is building a dedicated Digital, Data & AI engineering team in Warsaw.

You will join the founding team through the consultancy and work hands-on inside the client's product teams, backlogs and repositories.

You will collaborate closely with the Product, Architecture, Integration, Data and Cyber teams based in France.

The aim is to lay the engineering groundwork: development harnesses, environments, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, release controls, controls for AI-assisted engineering and production reliability.

The work has real production impact on industrial and rail operations.

The consultancy is an international consulting group with 7,200 consultants in 21 countries and a turnover of €850M. It has been operating for 22 years and is on track to reach €1 billion in revenue this year.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, environments, and procedures for releases and rollbacks.
• Write Infrastructure as Code and put DevSecOps controls in place for secrets, identity and access.
• Build automated test frameworks, AI evaluation frameworks and quality gates.
• Set up logging, monitoring and observability, and take part in incident response.
• Define and roll out engineering standards for AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform or SRE engineering.
• You have hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing and observability in production environments.
• You have worked with cloud platform operations and security controls.
• You have fluent English at C1 level.
• Preferred: Azure, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure Container Registry, Redis, PostgreSQL, and LLM evaluation and guardrails.

Conditions

The role is offered on an employment contract (UoP).

The role is based in Warsaw, and you will be able to work from the Warsaw office; the attendance model is to be confirmed.
