eFront Tech Lead - Integrations

Description

Long-term project integrating eFront, a platform for alternative investments, with core banking systems and data platforms.

The work covers Private Equity, Real Estate and Private Debt, with complex integrations in a financial services setting.

As Tech Lead you own the technical design and delivery of eFront integrations, make the key technical calls, guide developers, and keep performance, data quality and reliability high.

The company is an international consulting group headquartered in Paris, with over 7,200 consultants in 21 countries, a turnover of €850M, and 22 years of operation. It is on track to reach €1 billion in revenue this year and works with clients in Financial Services, among other sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and build eFront integrations, including data feeds, ETL processes, and interfaces with core banking systems and data warehouses.
• Define development standards, coding practices and code review processes, and make the main technical decisions.
• Mentor developers and work alongside Business Analysts and client stakeholders.
• Keep integrations stable and performing well in production, with sound data quality.
• Plan and estimate development work and help with release planning.
• Spot technical risks and propose fixes that improve integration processes and system performance.

Requirements

• Hands-on eFront Invest experience is mandatory, covering configuration, FrontScript and integrations.
• At least 7 years of software development, including 2+ years as Technical Lead.
• Strong SQL skills, ideally on SQL Server or Oracle.
• Solid background in ETL and system integrations using APIs, flat files and data feeds.
• Familiarity with the eFront Data Warehouse and Calculation Engine (Calc Engine).
• Development experience in.NET (C / VB.NET), Java or JavaScript.
• Understanding of private markets and fund administration.
• Fluent English for communicating with international teams and stakeholders.
