Description

The company is an early-stage healthcare startup that uses AI to guide patients to the right care. It helps providers focus on the patients who need them most, with the goal of improving access, quality, and economic outcomes at scale.

Founders came from Apple, Uber, and Carbon Health. Investors include General Catalyst and Chelsea Clinton. The company works with health systems across the U.S. and has started partnering with healthcare organizations in the MENA region.

You will own the technical relationship with 3-5 health system partners, from first integration through go-live, expansion, and daily operations.

Partners are customers the company works with closely, and each one is growing by adding clinics, workflows, and call volume. The company is moving from a handful of partners toward a much larger base, so every partner needs steady support.

The role blends engineering, customer work, and product. You will work inside partners' environments with their IT, access, and clinical staff, then feed what you learn back to product and engineering. A good fit is an engineer who likes working close to customers, enjoys messy real-world systems such as Epic, HL7, fax, and phone trees, and wants to turn one-off work into a repeatable playbook.

Success looks like: each partner has a clear technical owner who trusts you, new partners go live faster with fewer custom steps, issues get caught early, onboarding follows a shared runbook and checklist, partner-specific knowledge lives in config and tooling, and partners expand over time.

This matters because the product only works when it is connected to a partner's EHR, phone lines, SOPs, and staff. Integration and launch are where most healthcare AI deployments stall.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical owner and main contact for 3-5 health system partners.
  • Give partners and company leadership regular, clear updates.
  • Be on site with partners during integrations and go-lives.
  • Join pre-sale talks and help scope work for prospective partners.
  • Connect the platform to each partner's systems, workflows, and data.
  • Build partner-specific tools, automations, and integrations where needed.
  • Work with the Epic integration team and partner IT on EHR work.
  • Set up, test, and launch the AI agents for each partner.
  • Tune agent behavior and the patient experience using real call data.
  • Help partners extend to new clinics, workflows, and use cases.
  • Respond first when something breaks, and follow through with the partner until it is resolved.
  • Watch partner quality and fix problems before partners raise them.
  • Report partner performance using metrics partners trust.
  • Bring field issues to product and engineering, and help triage and prioritize them.
  • Turn partner feedback and recurring problems into product changes.
  • Help with internal projects outside your own partners.
  • Convert one-off work into repeatable processes, tooling, and documentation.
  • Use AI and automation to get more done yourself.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in partner, solutions, or forward-deployed engineering, with strong coding and SQL skills.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with and debugging third-party systems in production.
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people.
  • A generalist who takes ownership and handles many partners and projects at once.
  • Willingness to travel to partner sites, up to 50%, mostly around integrations and go-lives.
  • Experience in healthcare, or a strong interest in working in it.
  • Even better: experience with Epic or other EHR integrations.
  • Even better: experience at a startup.
  • Even better: experience with voice AI, telephony, or LLM-based products.
  • Even better: familiarity with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP.

Conditions

The company values serving people with integrity and kindness, moving quickly while prioritizing safety and evidence, asking questions before assuming, collaborating with mutual respect, and using AI to work smarter.
