Description

Healthcare is complicated, and the company's health technology aims to make it easier to navigate, more accessible and more affordable for everyone.

The company is a joint venture between Red Ventures and Optum, and it reaches more than 40 million people every month through its health brands.

This is a current opening on the Digital Performance Marketing team. You will run the paid campaigns behind sponsored health content for pharma and health brands, learn how media, data and partnerships fit together to meet delivery goals, and develop with a team that invests in growth.

The team works best together in person, so the role is hybrid: the office is open Tuesday through Thursday, and you may work remotely on Mondays and Fridays if you choose.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns, mainly on Meta and Google, that send qualified traffic to sponsored health content and community programs.
  • Build audiences, targeting and creative tests for each condition-specific program, keeping the audience quality partners pay for.
  • Work with Ad Operations, Site Marketing, Newsletter, Product Marketing and Performance teams to launch programs on schedule and hit goals.
  • Check pacing and performance each day, spot trends, and recommend changes that lower costs and improve delivery.
  • Manage campaign budgets against delivery targets, shifting spend to prevent under- or over-delivery and raising risks early.
  • Prepare pacing reports, monthly cost forecasts and performance readouts for internal stakeholders, covering wins, risks and opportunities.
  • Keep up with paid media platforms, privacy changes and new channels, and test new traffic sources and automation that make the work more efficient.
  • Show a drive to learn, self-awareness, and the willingness to act on feedback.

Requirements

  • Required: A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Required: One to three years of paid media or digital marketing experience, ideally at an agency, publisher or in-house performance team.
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads, including campaign setup and budget management.
  • Required: Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear optimization decisions.
  • Required: Careful attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage several programs and deadlines at once.
  • Required: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables and pacing trackers, plus comfort with other data tools.
  • Required: The ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in health, pharma or publisher-side media.
  • Preferred: Basic SQL or experience working with large datasets, such as in Databricks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with automation tools, such as Hightouch, or AI-assisted workflows.

Conditions

The starting salary is between $58,000 and $72,000, and the exact figure depends on location, qualifications and experience.

The role is hybrid, with the office open Tuesday through Thursday at 1101 Red Ventures Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29707.

The company intends to fill this vacancy by 01/28/2027.

The company does not provide visa sponsorship for this role at this time.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and bases hiring solely on merit and qualifications, without discrimination on any protected basis.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision coverage, plus HSA, FSA and pharmacy benefits.
  • Life insurance, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
  • Income protection plans and an employee assistance program.
  • Paid time off, holiday pay and paid parental bonding.
  • A 401(k) with company match.
  • Mental health support, wellness coaching and pet services plans.
  • Commuter benefits and a gym and fitness center discount program.
