Operations Project Manager I (Lider Projektów) f/m

Description

The company is a provider of engineering, supply chain and manufacturing services, with 60 years in business and more than 100 sites worldwide.

This is an Operations Project Manager I role based on site in Kwidzyn, pomorskie. You will lead low complexity projects and support more complex ones, guiding each one from concept through to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Set clear, concise goals and objectives for each project.
• Gather project requirements, make sure the team understands them, and turn them into work that can be executed.
• On low complexity projects, identify the key performance indicators and keep work within scope, quality, time and cost limits.
• Lead overall success on low complexity projects and help deliver more complex ones on cost, schedule, quality and scope.
• Support the drafting of the SOW, functional requirements, project plan with milestones and implementation plan.
• Build and own the project plan, with a roadmap of dates and deliverables.
• Review project risks regularly and put mitigation strategies in place.
• Prepare proposals to close gaps and reduce risk.
• Support forecasts of project budget and staffing for current and future site needs.
• Keep stakeholders informed through regular updates to the project team, departments, project champions and senior leadership.
• Run a weekly meeting to share project status, resolve issues and discuss changes.
• Work with stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliverables, and make project objectives and success criteria clear.
• Escalate issues to the next management level when needed.
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers and aim to exceed their expectations.
• Present information clearly to management and customer staff, and answer common inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
• Follow all safety, health and company security procedures for this role.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Write and speak clearly in Polish and English, using a professional business style. Required.
• Show a strong focus on results and attention to detail.
• Build partnerships, lead change and manage projects.
• Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email confidently.
• Have advanced PC skills, including the ability to learn and use SAP or similar integrated systems.
• Hold a bachelor's degree. Required.
• Have at least 1-2 years of project management experience.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in an engineering department.
• Know SMT and selective soldering production well.
• PMP or an equivalent certification. Preferred.
• Alternatively, combine education, experience and/or training that is equivalent.

Conditions

Full-time position on an employment contract.

Work is on site in Kwidzyn, pomorskie.
