Description

The company designs and builds precision motion and control products and values solving hard technical problems in a trusting, performance-focused culture.

The OCM Program Manager leads organizational change management for the rollout of the company's SAP ERP across the enterprise. You will own the OCM strategy and its execution, aiming for lasting adoption, business readiness and measurable value across a multi-year, phased S/4 implementation. The role treats change management as a central driver of value by directly tackling the people side of modernization, which largely decides whether it succeeds.

You will work closely with Executive Sponsors, Business Champions, Business Data Leads, IT and Program Managers to build disciplined, measurable change practices into every phase of the program, keeping disruption to a minimum.

Responsibilities

  • Define, govern and deliver the end-to-end OCM strategy, aligned with program objectives and milestones.
  • Build OCM milestones, measures and decision gates into the program governance.
  • Assess how change affects the organization, and identify risks, resistance and mitigations.
  • Keep change approaches consistent across all SAP workstreams and deployment waves.
  • Set success criteria and adoption metrics tied to business outcomes rather than task completion.
  • Lead, mentor and manage OCM specialists, including change analysts, communications leads, training leads and change champions.
  • Set goals, priorities and performance expectations for OCM resources, and balance workloads across the team and with SAP workstreams.
  • Grow internal change capability and standardize OCM tools, templates and practices.
  • Coordinate external change management consultants when needed.
  • Identify impacted stakeholder groups and design targeted engagement plans.
  • Work with executive sponsors, senior leaders and line managers to build visible sponsorship and accountability.
  • Coach leaders and people managers to drive SAP adoption, reinforce new ways of working, and address resistance.
  • Facilitate workshops where needed.
  • Build and run the SAP change communication strategy, covering key messages, timing, channels and audiences.
  • Rebuild trust after earlier ERP efforts through openness, credibility and aligned leadership.
  • Create and oversee communication materials such as emails, presentations, intranet content, FAQs and roadmaps.
  • Tailor messages to each stakeholder group while keeping them clear and consistent.
  • Align communications with program management, the SAP SteerCo and corporate and operating group stakeholders.
  • Define and govern the SAP end-user training strategy, including role-based learning paths.
  • Work with L&D and functional teams to design, develop and deliver training that matches business processes, system configuration and go-live readiness.
  • Measure training results through proficiency, adoption and time-to-productivity.
  • Support super-user and change champion networks to drive peer-to-peer adoption.
  • Define and track adoption metrics, readiness indicators and change KPIs.
  • Run organizational readiness assessments and coordinate corrective actions in real time.
  • Maintain a portfolio view of enterprise change initiatives to limit saturation and collisions.
  • Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization, including hypercare.
  • Create sustainment plans that reinforce adoption and embed changes into standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as a core member of the SAP program team, working with Project and Program Management, Business Champions, Business Data Leads, IT Technical Leads and System Integrators.
  • Make sure OCM deliverables are built into the overall SAP program plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 8-12+ years in organizational change management, ideally supporting large ERP or SAP implementations.
  • Hands-on experience leading OCM for an ERP rollout, with S/4HANA preferred.
  • Solid grasp of change methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR and Kotter.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and stakeholders at every level.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Nice to have: Prosci or an equivalent change management certification.
  • Nice to have: Experience with multi-site, global or phased SAP deployments.
  • Nice to have: Background in manufacturing, aerospace, supply chain, finance or regulated environments.
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, leadership presence and credibility, and high emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • You handle ambiguity and fast change well and focus on adoption and outcomes.
