Description

The company's central technical program management team takes its most important product and technology initiatives from concept to launch.

Central TPMs are technically strong program leaders who work from a product and engineering standpoint and connect with other groups such as communications, marketing, business development, support, and external partners, so each becomes a core partner in the program.

The work mixes strategy with hands-on execution, covering top-priority programs that matter a great deal to the business, from new product launches to acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Co-own program strategy with Product and Engineering, shaping company strategy, technical architecture, and roadmap tradeoffs.
  • Run top-priority cross-functional initiatives end to end, from concept to launch, with defined goals, milestones, and completion criteria.
  • Build and carry out integration roadmaps, strategies, and playbooks for acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
  • Set up how the program operates, including roles, decision rights, escalation paths, and communication plans, and hold workstream owners to their commitments.
  • Spot risks early, put mitigation plans in place, and push hard to clear systemic issues that block delivery.
  • Share progress, risks, and tradeoffs openly and directly with everyone from engineers to the C-suite.
  • Bring data-backed options to decision makers and see decisions through to closure.
  • Strengthen team delivery by creating best practices, mentoring other TPMs, and helping with recruiting and onboarding.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in technical program management or a hybrid TPM/PM role, including leading large, highly cross-functional programs.
  • Background in software engineering, systems engineering, or data science, deep enough to work closely with engineers and product leaders.
  • Experience delivering programs on large-scale production systems.
  • Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous situations with only high-level direction.
  • Track record of shaping strategy and roadmaps while managing dependencies and risk well.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and build alignment across a matrixed organization without formal authority.
  • Experience linking product and engineering with business functions, such as in acquisitions, partnerships, or go-to-market launches, is a strong plus.

Hybrid role based in the office three days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The company treats in-office work at this frequency as an essential part of the role.
