Middle+ Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

This is a remote contract role for a Middle+ project manager.

The team runs several initiatives across departments and needs one person to drive them from the first request through to rollout.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from first request to rollout and coordinate several at once across departments, so each hits its goals within the agreed scope, schedule and spend.
• Build each project's plan yourself: design the solution, set the budget, assign people and manage risks.
• Study how work flows through the business, find where it can improve, and turn those findings into clear project requirements.
• Improve processes using research, process mapping, data analysis and gap analysis.
• Keep stakeholders informed throughout each project by clarifying needs, giving updates, presenting outcomes and setting realistic expectations.
• Direct cross-functional business and technical teams, setting their scope, priorities and backlog.
• Lead rollout and change management so stakeholders stay involved and adoption goes smoothly.
• Connect business systems, processes and technology solutions into one working integration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management, including projects you led from the initial request through to implementation.
• Past work in a product company or startup, serving internal stakeholders and users.
• Experience running digital products, SaaS, technology or AI-related projects.
• Experience with AI-powered products, AI solutions or AI-enabled business processes.
• Hands-on record of improving business workflows through implementation, beyond development work and standard SDLC processes.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• A background in business analysis or product management is a plus.
• Skill with no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble or Bolt is a plus.

Conditions

Fully remote, contract position.
