Middle+ Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

The company builds digital products, SaaS and AI-powered tools, and this role sits within a product team that works with internal stakeholders and users.

You will run several projects at once across departments, from the first request through to rollout.

This is a remote contract role.

Responsibilities

• Take projects from first request to delivery, managing several in parallel across departments so they land on scope, on time and on budget.
• Plan each project: design the solution, set the budget, assign resources and manage risks.
• Study workflows and business processes, spot where they can be improved and turn those findings into clear project requirements.
• Improve business processes through research, process modelling, data analysis and gap analysis.
• Keep stakeholders involved throughout: clarify requirements, report progress, present results and set realistic expectations.
• Direct cross-functional business and technical teams, setting scope, priorities and the backlog.
• Lead implementation and change management so stakeholders engage and adoption goes smoothly.
• Bring business systems, processes and technology solutions together into one integrated whole.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience, including leading projects from initial request through to implementation.
• Experience in a product company or startup, working with internal stakeholders and users.
• Experience managing digital products, SaaS, technology or AI-related projects.
• Experience with AI-powered products, AI solutions or AI-enabled business processes.
• Hands-on record of analysing and improving business workflows and delivering those changes beyond development work and standard SDLC processes.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Business analysis or product management background is a plus.
• Working knowledge of no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble or Bolt is a plus.
